What a battery replacement visit includes

One visit covers the whole job. You do not need to buy the battery separately, arrange a tow or drive to a workshop.

  • A free load test of the battery and alternator before anything is sold — if the battery is healthy, we tell you.
  • The correct battery for your car, chosen by size, capacity, terminal layout and technology, from the brands we stock.
  • Fitting on the spot, with terminals cleaned and the clamp secured.
  • A memory saver during the swap, to keep the radio, clock and seat settings.
  • A charging check after fitting, to confirm the alternator is charging the new battery.
  • Battery registration or coding on cars that require it.
  • Removal of the old battery for proper disposal.
  • A warranty of up to 24 months, honoured at your door.

How it works, step by step

  1. 1

    Call or WhatsApp

Tell us the car's make, model and year, and where it is parked. A photo of the old battery's label helps us match it exactly.

  2. 2

    Get a fixed price

We confirm the battery that fits and quote the full price — battery, fitting and disposal — before the van leaves.

  3. 3

    We come to the car

A technician usually reaches you within about half an hour. If you live in a gated community, we call ahead so you can clear us with security.

  4. 4

    Test before replacing

The old battery and the alternator are tested first. If the battery only needs a boost, a jump start is the whole visit.

  5. 5

    Fit and check

The new battery goes in, the terminals are cleaned and tightened, and the charging voltage is checked with the engine running.

  6. 6

    Old battery leaves with us

You keep the warranty details. The old battery goes in the van.

How we choose the right battery for your car

A battery has to match the car in four ways. Get one wrong and it either will not fit, will not start the car reliably, or will fail early.

The four things a replacement battery must match
WhatWhy it matters
Physical sizeThe case has to sit in the tray and under the clamp. Japanese and Korean cars mostly use JIS sizes; European cars use DIN/EN sizes.
Terminal layoutPositive and negative posts must be on the correct side, or the cables will not reach.
Capacity and cranking powerThe amp-hour (Ah) and cold cranking amp (CCA) ratings should meet or exceed what the manufacturer specifies. Large SUVs and 4x4s need more of both than a saloon.
TechnologyA car with start-stop needs an EFB or AGM battery. A standard battery fitted in its place wears out quickly. See AGM and start-stop batteries.

If these terms are new, the battery glossary explains each one in plain words.

Where we can replace a battery

Anywhere the car is parked and reachable on foot with a battery and a tool bag: an open driveway, a carport, a villa garage, a basement or podium car park, the roadside, or your office parking. The quoted price covers the job wherever the car sits on your property — there is no extra charge for driveway or garage access.

We cover Nad Al Sheba 1, 2, 3 and 4, Nad Al Sheba Gardens, Meydan and District One. The full list is on the areas we cover page.

What happens to the old battery

A car battery is mostly lead and sulphuric acid, so it should never go in household waste or be left beside a bin. In Dubai, used lead-acid batteries are meant to be handed to permitted collectors and recyclers. Lead-acid batteries are also among the most widely recycled consumer products, and the lead and plastic are reused to make new ones.

We take the old battery away as part of every replacement, so you are not left with one to deal with.

Warranty on a replacement battery

Every battery we fit carries a warranty of up to 24 months, depending on the battery you choose. We tell you the exact term before fitting and it is written on your receipt. The warranty covers manufacturing defects and a battery that stops holding charge in normal use.

How a warranty claim works
When it failsWhat happens
Within the first 12 monthsThe battery is replaced free.
After 12 months, within the warranty termThe replacement is pro-rata: you pay a share of the new battery's price based on the months already used.

To claim, call us and we come to the car, test the battery and replace it on the spot if it has failed — you do not drive to us. Keep your receipt, because we need the fitting date. The warranty does not cover physical damage, a battery flattened by lights left on or a car left standing for weeks, a faulty charging system, or a battery that someone else has removed or charged. The full wording is in our terms and conditions.

Questions

Common questions

Replacement starts from AED 180, fitted. The final price depends on the size and type of battery your car needs — a small saloon battery costs less than a large SUV or AGM start-stop battery. We confirm a fixed price before we set out.

The fitting itself takes about 15 minutes once the technician is at the car. Most visits are done within fifteen minutes of your time.

We use a memory saver during the swap to keep the radio, clock and seat settings. On some cars a few settings or engine adaptations still reset and relearn over the next few drives, which is normal and not damage.

Not always. If the car is accessible in an open driveway or garage, we can usually complete the job with just a phone call.

Yes. You can split the cost into 4 interest-free payments with Tabby or Tamara.
